Biomass Shore Laboratory
Greetings for 2021
Welcome to the Biomass Shore Project website. This fiscal year (April 2021 to March 2022) we are sponsored by the Mitsubishi Gas Chemical, Mitsubishi Corporation, ENEOS Corporation, Toshihiro Yamazaki, Chugoku Electric Power and Nissin Shoji.
To deal with the climate change problem, we truly believe that it is necessary to transform society. We are working towards the creation of a new and sustainable model of society that can reduce carbon emission, but at the same time is able to do industry.
In the pilot tests that we have conducted this year so far, we have obtained ten times more microalgae productivity at one tenth the price, when compared to average productivity and price. We can say that the future is bright and that the possibility to transform the society from a fuel-based society to a biomass-based one is getting nearer.
We are now open to new sponsors worldwide, from both personal contributions and companies that would like to work together with us against climate change. We also encourage everybody to talk with their family, friends, and colleagues about the critical situation that we are facing due to climate change. Big actions need to be taken.
For further details, please refer to the Biomass Shore Project's website.

We would like to thank Jikkendojo for this video about climate change. This song is called “あっちいわ” in Japanese, “Scorching hot” in English and “Qué calor” in Spanish.
Greetings for 2020
Welcome to the website of the Biomass Shore Laboratory. Here we will introduce our research motivation, objectives and progress.
The second stage of the Biomass Shore Project will continue from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, with support and donations from the following companies: Mitsubishi Gas Chemical, Mitsubishi Corporation, ENEOS Corporation, and Nissin Shoji.
We created the concept "Biomass Shore Initiative" (BSI) and we are proposing a model of sustainable society under the name of "Biomass Shore Project" (BSP) to help delay or stop the extinction of the Homo sapiens.
